VW Mechanical Servicing

 It's vital to ensure your VW is serviced regularly to keep it running properly and efficiently, and ensure its ongoing safety. Regular servicing can also dramatically reduce the cost of repairs.

Every Minor Service includes:

  • ELF oil
  • oil filter change
  • checking of air filter (and replacement if necessary)
  • tyre rotation and wheel balance
  • checking and adjusting of brakes (including handbrake), reporting if brakes are low
  • checking of all suspension and steering components
  • checking diff oil levels
  • checking transmission oil levels
  • checking and topping-up of all under-bonnet fluids
  • checking the operation of all lights, and
  • ensuring correct tyre pressure.

Every Major Service includes the same as a minor service plus:

  • air filter change
  • fuel filter change
  • new spark plugs (plus points if fitted), and
  • tuning of carburettor (if fitted).

We can also balance Wide-5 wheels without the need to bolt to an adapter plate.
